Jonathan B Marquez is a children's book author and illustrator. He was introduced to the world of children's literature when his childhood friend, Victor Castelo asked him to illustrate a children's story. Jonathan immediately found a new passion project in his life.

One day while walking to school, Walter wishes he could jump just like his friends do. Unfortunately he can't jump because, well, he's a turtle. However Walter soon realizes that what makes him special sets him apart from the rest of his friends.
Walter finds out the true meaning of Christmas when he visits his friends and they share with him all of their wonderful traditions and beliefs. On Walters way home he realizes that the gift of family and friendship is the most important gift of all.
As Walter thinks about what he would wish for. He realizes it isn’t awards, fame, or money but being able to trust that God will guide his path with wisdom, health, and faith.
Join Walter and Carlos as they make some new friends. They both soon realize that their new friends are very different from they are used to. And though their new friends have some unusual way of doing things it doesn't mean they still all can't have fun together.
Walter was having a very bad day because he was making some very bad choices. He even started think that he was a bad guy. But to turn his day around all he had to do was to start making a few good choices.
Walter was so nervous that he didn’t want to perform at the talent show. It wasn’t until he changed the way he thought about how he was feeling that he was able to go and do the best he could.
Walter was challenged with making three good or bad choices. Though the bad choices seemed more rewarding, he decided it’s best to have integrity, by doing what is right, even when no one is looking.
When Maisie arrived to class, Walter was surprised that she didn’t like school but what was more surprising is that she didn’t care. Luckily, the substitute teacher Mr. M. was able to help Maisie find her passion and her attitude about school changed.
